That could be the problem I transfered some mp3 songs via USB and a Sansa player which seemed to work ok. I just bought a new one.

I’ll try to track down an Mobolemate driver for it, just in case that doesn’t work. Once it is fully restarted and logged in, insert the MobileMate without a card in itand have Windows try to find a driver for it.
